Elings
Park Dog Owners Group (EPDOG), P.O. Box 3971, Santa Barbara
CA 93130, 805-687-9709. EPDOG represents the interests of dogs (and their
guardians) who use Santa Barbara's Elings Park, the largest privately-funded,
for-the-public park west of the Rockies. The group's primary focus is maintaining
off-leash privileges throughout this 230 acre, multi-use park. Through a
fee permitting program, self-regulation, and teamwork with park management,
EPDOG has been able to make off-leash dog activities compatible with the
many sports and recreational activities that compete for use of the park's
