The following dogs are waiting for a home at the Dog Adoption and Welfare Group (DAWG). DAWG is a private, non-profit, no-kill dog rescue organization, owned and operated by volunteers, serving the lost and abandoned dogs of Santa Barbara. The kennels are located at 5480 Overpass Rd (off Patterson Avenue just beyond the County Shelter). All dogs are on K9 Advantix flea/tick/mosquito protection, are spayed/neutered, have all current shots, a HomeAgain microchip, and come with new adopter consultation with DAWG's trainer if needed. Adoption Hours: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm., other times by appointment. Dogs can be viewed every day during business hours. | Immortalize your dog by placing his/her paw print on a ceramic tile which you can personalize with lots of colorful paint. The tile is then placed on the "Paw Wall" at the DAWG Shelter. All proceeds go toward more kennels for shelter dogs. MEET JEFFREY! Jeffrey is a 60 lb. neutered male born 5-21-06 to Lilly, a purebred French Bulldog and a purebred black lab. Playful, fetches, runs, loves the beach and the car. Loyal and smart, bonds deeply with his humans, and is excelling in his obedience classes. He is cuddly, responsive, and more than anything else, he lives to please.
