VOLUNTEERS AND FOSTER PARENTS NEEDED!

You can help the cats and kittens at ASAP by volunteering your time a few hours each week. Volunteer training classes take place from 9 am to 11 am on Saturdays, by appointment.

ASAP also has an immediate need for temporary foster homes for kittens who are too young to remain at the shelter. Training classes are by appointment only.

MEET STELLA!

F/S, 4 years. Stella, a beautiful short-haired tortie, is affectionate and mellow. Will get along fine with a non-aggressive feline companion. Seems to prefer being an indoor only cat.

MEET SASHA!

F/S, 5 years. Sasha, a grayish brown tabby, is gentle and ladylike. She is shy but with time and TLC will blossom.

MEET ROSARIO!

M/N, 4 years. This independent grey long-haired feline is definitely an alpha cat. He doesn't attack other cats but makes it known that he doesn't like them! Rosaria likes people but should probably be the only cat in the household.

MEET OLIVER!

M/N, 3 years. Oliver is a short-haired cream and white tabby. He plays with and gets along with other cats and is great with young children. Ideal family cat.

MEET GEENA!

F/S, 1 year. Geena, a black short-haired feline, is Emmett's sister.  She is more outgoing than Emmett but still a little shy and skittish. Loves to play and pounce on Emmett. Gets along with other cats.

MEET EMMETT!

M/N, 1 year.  Emmett, a black and white medium-haired feline, is very shy.  With time and TLC, this playful cat will blossom.

MEET TARA!

F/S, 1 year. Tara, a gorgeous short-haired tortoise shell, is young, active and playful. She's looking for a quiet home to call her own.

MEET MIKE!

M/N, 5 years. Mike, a big, brown, long-haired tabby manx, is a mellow teddy bear. He's very sociable, greeting people at the door, and gets along with other cats. Since he's been declawed, he must be indoors only.

MEET JOHN DOE!

M/N, 6 years. John Doe, a black and white short-haired tuxedo cat, loves attention, petting and general pampering, rewarding you with a purr. Since he lived alone with an elderly woman who passed away, a little time and TLC may be required for him to become a great family pet.

MEET GRACIE!

F/S, 2 years. Gracie, a grey dilute tortie, is a little shy at first but loves attention. She comes out of her shell when the petting begins, purring her thanks.

MEET GITANA!

F/S, 2 years. Gitana, a petite black and white short-haired cat, is a bit shy but affectionate, friendly and mellow. Will be an ideal family pet.

MEET XUXA!

F/S, 9 years. Xuxa's previous guardian passed away, so this feline is looking for a new home to call her own. Would be an ideal indoor/outdoor pet.

MEET WINDSOR!

M/N, 3 years. Windsor, a white and grey short-haired feline, is calm and affectionate. He is great with children and would make an ideal family pet.

MEET MIDNIGHT!

F/S, 6 years. Midnight has beautiful long, velvety black fur and enjoys being petted. She's a little shy at first, but when properly pampered will reward you with a great purr. Probably would be happiest as the only cat in your life.

MEET BALOO!

M/N, 1 year. Baloo is a black short-haired cat with beautiful dark amber eyes. He's very shy at first, but with time and TLC will come into his own. Probably best suited to an adult home or a family with older children.

MEET JUNE!

F/S, 7 months. June, a medium-haired black and white feline, is affectionate and mellow. Would make a good companion for another cat.

MEET FRIEDA!

F/S, 1 year. This petite brown and white tabby is Miss Independent, enjoying petting and pampering on her terms. Frieda would be a great indoor/outdoor cat.

MEET FINNIGAN!

M/N, 1 year. This white and orange tabby is friendly, young and full of energy. Finnegan enjoys petting, is a shoulder cat and gets along with other cats.

MEET WENDY!

F/S, 8 years. Wendy is a black and white short-hair and, like many of us, can afford to lose a pound or two! She's reserved, but enjoys attention.

MEET TRAVERTINE!

M/N, 3 years. Travertine is a black short-haired cat who is calm and sweet. He enjoys petting and pampering.

MEET CHARLEE!

F/S, 12 years. Charlee is big, beautiful and vocal--and eager to rule your household!  She does OK with dogs, but would prefer being the only feline in your life.

MEET PEACHY!

F/S, 6 years. Peachy was homeless in Isla Vista and is now looking for a quiet, loving, indoor  home to call her own. This cream tabby is affectionate and loves being petted.  ASAP volunteers believe she may prove to be a lap cat. Gets along with children.

MEET FRITH!

F/S, 2 years. Frith is a white/black/tan Siamese mix with gorgeous blue eyes and a colorful raccoon tail. She's quiet and a bit shy. Would probably enjoy and adult-only home with no other pets.

MEET CHELSEA!

F/S, 8 years. Chelsea, and brown tabby with white, is an indoor/ourdoor cat. With time, patience and TLC, she'll add color and life to your home. Would like an adult-only home.
